Adnams 10k Run
Adnams hosts an annual 10k Run in November, in our hometown of Southwold. We’re not sure if it is the wonderful scenery along the route, the cheering crowds, the cool medal, or a celebratory pint in the pub afterwards, but something makes the Adnams 10k Run one of the most popular running events in the region. Whatever it is, hundreds of people appear eager to pound the pavements of Southwold on a brisk November morning.
2025
The 2024 event sold-out in record breaking time (literally quicker than it took to run it!!) It was ran on: Sunday 24th November 2024, starting at 11 am.
Despite the weather the attendance and support were incredible. With some fantastic performances and lots of fun.
Congratulations to all those who achieved winning times, a new PB or most importantly had fun with friends and family.
We hope your displaying your medal proudly and treated yourself to a 10% discount treat from the Adnams store on presentation of your medal on the day.

The Course
It is a circular route, involving two-and-a-half laps, starting at The Harbour Inn, and taking in The Common. On the third and final circuit, runners are diverted up Queen’s Road, to the finish line on South Green by The Red Lion pub. The harbour can be challenging with its shingle surface, and there is an incline on the way to the finish, but a warm welcome and an intriguing goody bag awaits when you cross the line.
Beneficiaries
As well as the value of exercise and a healthy lifestyle, our 10k run benefits many local charities. All profit from the run (after costs) goes to The Adnams Community Trust, which supports organisations within 25 miles of Southwold. Participants also use the event as an opportunity to raise funds for various good causes across the region. Find out more about the work of The Adnams Community Trust here.
