Fresh, peachy and aromatic

Fresh, peachy and aromatic

Made from Viognier grapes grown on ancient volcanic soils on the Mediterranean coast, this wine is a delightful alternative to the more familiar grape varieties, giving ripe, floral aromatic flavours with a soft and fleshy feel. In the Adnams Countries Range, you will find the familiar flavours of wines you know and love, and those you’ve really got to try. We’ve searched the world for quality examples of each style, so you can grab a bottle of your go-to or find the perfect introduction.

Description

This wonderfully fragrant grape is happiest when it’ s warm. We’ve sourced our Viognier from the Pays d’Oc in southern France, where the hot Mediterranean climate and cooling continental winds help develop its distinctive floral aromatics. Serve chilled as an aperitif or with tapas and fillets of grilled fish.

How does it taste

The Adnams Viognier has bright and expressive aromas of fresh apricots and honeysuckle, and fruity flavours of peaches and nectarines.
