Forrest have been crafting wines since the late 1980's in the heart of New Zealand. The first vintage was 1990 and things have only improved since then. Renowned as one of the finest producers in Marlborough, Forrest have received a number of awards and accolades over the years and we're pretty confident they'll continue to bag awards going forward. A family run business, we feel as though the team at Forrest align with the values we hold so dear here at Adnams. Beth fell in love with Chenin Blanc during a visit to the Loire Valley to discover the intricacies of Sauvignon Blanc. Returning with excitement to show off the old vines John had lovingly planted in 1988 at Forrest’s home block in Renwick, the two excited winemakers also set about expanding our plantings in the Southern Valleys to complement the steely, mineral notes of the gravels with the aromatic punch of the Brancott Clay profile.
