Light, refreshing, and big on flavour.

From our hometown of Southwold, we set off to see the world and Explorer captures that spirit of discovery. First brewed in 2004, Explorer is crafted on the Suffolk coast, but was inspired by another, as it was created following a trip to sample hops in the United States. When they landed home, our brewers wanted to create a golden beer using the American hops they’d discovered, while giving a nod to the place where they started their journey.

Adnams Explorer captures the spirit of discovery by using a blend of American hops in combination with selected British varieties, to create a golden beer that is light, refreshing, and big on flavour.

How does it taste

Explorer is light, refreshing and suffused with the aromas of a grapefruit grove and resinous hints of pine. The citrus notes burst onto the palate as the hops deliver a crisp, cleansing bitterness.

Absolutely love Explorer. When the bottles went I was a bit disappointed but now it's back in cans as good as ever. If you like Ghost Ship you will love Explorer.

My husband is very disappointed that Explorer is no longer sold in the bigger bottles, especially since price increased for the smaller cans. Also bit disappointed that nearly every can is dented. But delivery was quick and as ordered.
