Reverend Hubert Winter Cup

Reverend Hubert Winter Cup

Thomas Lester, Founder, MD and great-grandson of the Reverend Hubert, recreated the Reverend’s original homemade liqueur for Christmas day with family and various stragglers and presented it to the family with his life story. It was basic, but heavenly. Tom began making batches of Reverend Hubert’s Winter Gin Liqueur, selling to a few local pubs and restaurants. Sales went berserk and word of mouth created interest for weddings, parties and gifts. Today, the creative spirit of Hubert, ‘The Rev’, lives on through his great-grandson, Tom, who has inherited Hubert’s original recipe book. These old gin recipes have been his inspiration for the creation of Reverend Hubert Winter Gin Liqueur.
