Subjects of the Austro-Hungarian empire, the Endrici (Endrizzi in local dialect) family arrived in northern Italy in 1885 and established a formidable estate at the foot of the Dolomites. More recently, the Endrizzis descended from Trentino to purchase Tuscan estate Serpaia. Application of biodynamic techniques has resulted in stylish 'SuperTuscans' like this. Wildly complex flavours of succulent red fruits, plum skins and leather; fantastic with beef carpaccio.

Sophisticated Red

A blend of grapes that brings out the best of each and where else would you get tertiary aging flavours at this price!

Smooth and sweet

Smoother and sweeter than the Morellino. Very approachable and with a good length. Reminds me of wines I tasted on location in the Maremma. Well worth the money
