Buying a gift for a gin-loving friend or family member? Treat them to an Adnams Make Your Own Gin Experience. We run sessions at our Copper House Distillery in Southwold, or our stores in Bury St. Edmunds and Norwich, Unthank Road. Our E-Gift Card codes are sent via email. They have a two-year expiry from the day of purchase and enable the recipient to book a session at a date and time of their choosing.

During this fascinating experience, an Adnams Gin Maker will guide the recipient through the process of making a unique bottle of gin. Following a short tour of the Copper House Distillery to see the full-sized operation, we will scale things down to our mini copper stills and teach the secrets of distillation.

Guests learn how to craft a great-tasting gin, from balancing a wide variety of flavours and aromas to understanding the influence of the distillation process. Guests will develop their own recipe from a wide selection of botanicals and go on to distil, fill, and name their personal bottle. The experience also includes a tasting session showcasing our spirits range, including a selection of our best-loved brands, and any current seasonal releases available at the time of the visit.

This experience is suitable for those aged 18 or over

Please note: our Southwold Make Your Own Gin sessions take place in our distillery building and are therefore unsuitable for visitors in wheelchairs and for those with reduced mobility. Our distillery is located on the top floor of our old brewery building and access involves many steep stairs. If you would like to know more, please call 01502 727225 for advice before booking.

Due to limited space around the hot stills, only participants are allowed in our Gin Labs.
