Belgian-Style Blonde.

The origin of Adnams house yeast dates back to the 1920s and we've been using it since the 1940s. We wanted to craft a beer that accentuated its unique characteristics. We’ve always said that our yeast has a slight Belgian accent when you really dive in and decided brew a Belgian-style Blonde. Deep Seas embraces the fermentation process, and paying attention to temperature in the brewhouse helps us make the most of those big fruity esters. There is a small amount of malt flavour for balance and careful use of specific wheat gives this brew real depth.

The rich Belgian fruitiness and mild floral spiciness of Adnams house yeast really comes to the fore in Deep Seas. This merges with the tangerine notes of Mandarina Bavaria hops, while the addition of wheat stirs up lavish depth and foam.

When on holiday in the winter, I have a love for Grimbergen. It’s almost impossible to get in England. This is the closest I have found.
Beautiful and full-flavoured. Enjoy well chilled. Absolutely not a session beer!!!
