If you would like to know how a certain grape should taste, this range is the perfect introduction. Each wine has been selected for its character and excellent value. This grape, with its black currant and dark fruit characteristics, is the backbone of the great wines of Bordeaux. In this Chilean example, the Cabernet grape has produced a wine rich in strawberry, raspberry and chocolate notes. Medium-bodied with well-rounded tannins.

Sorry about this!

I purchased this with some other bottles a month before Christmas. I like CS and especially Chilian. When I opened it on Boxing day we found it acid and tart..quite undrinkable. I tried it bring it to the attention of the store in Southwold on the 2nd Jan but they were stocktaking and 'not available'. It's a bit late to return an undrinkable wine now. Very disappointed. (However, Southwold bitter is still my favorite!)
